Our 'lines' reference chart. The kids chose what to name each line. Now, when we are doing art I can say, "use a RollerCoaster line" etc. It's very helpful. They also practice their lines as an 'early finisher' activity.

  1. I teach in B.C. as well. My blog would say adventures of a new, 50 something (51), Kindergarten teacher. I taught first grade for 18 years and made the switch to K last year. Sometimes I think I'm too old (and tired) to teach K but I love them! Stumbled on your blog and just finished making my 'Lines' poster. Great idea. Have fun with 'one' it's a fabulous grade.

  3. Hi!
I am an educational consultant and I do teacher training workshops. I am writing to ask if you allow photos from your site to be used in a Power Point presentation. I would give credit to your site and provide your URL, of course. Please respond to epostman3@cox.net . I am interested in the chart with the different types of lines.
    thanks
